About University
Matsya University, Alwar was founded in the year 2012. It is a state university located at Alwar, Rajasthan, India. The University was announced in the budget speech of 2012-13 by Hon’ble chief minister of Rajasthan. It was later named Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University. The temporary campus is located at Girls Hostel of BSR Govt Arts College, Alwar. The permanent Campus is under construction which will be at Village Haldeena Tehsil Malakhera.
Raj Rishi Bharahtri Matsya University is the only University in the Rajasthan catering to the needs of the students of the Alwar district. Matsya University is located in the Matsya-Mewat region of Rajasthan state within the Aravali hills. The University will impart education & conduct research on several aspects of the Matsya Mewat region. The University was spread over all the academic, teachers training & law Collages of Alwar district.
