About Rabindra Bharati University

RBU was established the birth centenary of the legendary poet Rabindranath Tagore in 1962, who was the 1st Indian as well as Asian recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature. The University is a center for higher learning in performing arts, fine arts, language, literature, & social sciences. There are 3 major faculties Arts, Fine Arts & Visual Arts.
