About NSOU Distance Studies
Netaji Subhas Open University is the premier State Open University in India established by West Bengal Act (XIX) of 1997 and Recognized by U.G.C. and D.E.C. At present, NSOU is continuing its work with 120 Study Centres and several subjects of studies have been added to its list of courses. The University started UG Programme in Science subjects from the session Jan 2000. The PG Programme in Science subjects of Mathematics and Arts Subjects of History and Social Work were started in Jan 2002 and Jan 2004 session respectively. Now the University has attained Mega University status, with more than 2,50,000 learners in 77 courses.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
|Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com./ECO)||Pass qualification (10+2)
Equivalent / passed BPP with PCO from NSOU
Passed (10+2) in vocational courses.
|Bachelor of Economics (BDP/EEC)||Pass qualification (10+2)
Equivalent / passed BPP with PSS from NSOU
Passed (10+2) in vocational courses.
|Bachelor in Library and Information Science (BLIS)||For fresher Honors graduation (10+2+3) with 45% / pass graduation with 50%,
For in-service candidates: Experience of working in a library or similar others in a salaried post not below the category of clerical cadre in a Government Organization / equivalent for at least three years may be exempted from the requirement of minimum marks at the Such candidates will have to submit No-objection certificate and a certificate stating the last pay drawn from his / her employer.
Masters with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)

|Master of Social Work (MSW)||Graduate (3 year Course) with Social Work / Sociology / Political Science / History / Public Administration / Economics / Anthropology and have studied with minimum 300 marks in any above mentioned sub and passed successfully LLB / LLM from a recognized university.|
|M.A||Graduate (Three Years Course) with Honors in relevant subject|

- Visit the official website of Netaji Subhas Open University i.e., wbnsou.ac.in
- Click on the Admission tab & the list of various courses will appear.
- select the course you wanted to apply for & Fill up the details in application form such as Name, DOB, DD number, Course, Contact num, Email Id etc.,
- Upload the scanned recent photograph, signature and Upload any relevant certificates.
- Check all the details & Click on “submit”.
