About MCA Distance Education
Distance Education is nothing but Open Degree , where a candidate need not attend any regular classes, he/she just appears for the Term End Exams and Practicals.
The full form MCA is Master of Computer Applications. MCA provides good knowledge in the field of computer applications. MCA is designed to train the students as System Analysts, System Designers, Programmers etc.
Any graduate can apply for MCA Distance Education Programme. Admissions will be offered to the candidates based on the Merit or Entrance Exam Scores conducted by the Institutes. Some of the Institutes will not conduct any Entrance Exam, then the University will consider the scores obtained in Management Exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA etc.
Applications for the Entrance based Admission will start in the month of March and continue till June. The Entrance Exam will be conducted in July/August. Counselling or Admission Process will start in August/ September. Students should be alert in applying for the DE MCA Admissions before the Last Date ends.
Eligibility & Qualification
- Qualification : Any candidate who have completed Graduation with 50% marks are eligible for doing MCA in Distance Mode.
- Work Experience : 3 years of work experience in Management Sector.
- Eligibility : There is no Age Limit.
- Course Duration : The Duration for doing MCA is 2 years (depends on the course chosen by the candidate).
