About Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune
Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune (IIITP) is one of the IIIT a group of Higher studies in India concentrated on IT. It is founded by the Ministry of HR Development, Govt. of India, & few industry partners as N-PPP (Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership) Institution. Govt. COEP (College of Engineering, Pune) was the mentor IIITP. The academic program leading to the Ph.D. degree is broad-based & involves a course credit requirement & a research thesis submission. The Institute encourages study in interdisciplinary areas of joint supervision & interdepartmental group activities.

- B.Tech. Programs – Candidates have to pass 10+2 in Maths, Physics & Chemistry as main subjects from the recognized board.

Ans. But from whatever information I have gathered, IIIT Pune is indeed a good college as it is directly under the central government. Furthermore, Pune city itself is beneficial. Cut off the rank for this year Round 1 went to 10500, which is pretty high considering it is the first year.
