About University
Bikaner Technical University was established in the year 2017 which was located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. The University has affiliating 69 engineering & management colleges that were formerly affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University. The BTU was responsible for the proper working & functionality of the 36 different engg. colleges, where 4 colleges were state engineering colleges & the rest 32 are private engineering colleges. The aim of the BTU was to handle the load of the technical institutes in the 12 dist. of the Western Rajasthan.
BTU is based on the campus of the College of Engineering & Technology, Bikaner in Karni Industrial Area, Bikaner, approx 400 km (250 mi) from New Delhi. The Univerity was established under the jurisdiction over technical institutes in Bikaner & Jodhpur divisions. The mission of the university is to create a caring environment for students by planning & providing services and also to encourage & enhance students in extracurricular abilities & general welfare outside the classroom.
