ii. Germany won the title in 2014 after defeating Argentina in the final.

12FIFA (U-17) World Cup – The FIFA U-17 World Cup, founded as the FIFA U-16 World Championship, later changed to its current name in 2007, is the world championship of association football for male players under the age of 17 organized by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). It is held every two years.

i. The first FIFA (U-17) World Cup was held in 1991 in Italy. Ghana won the title after defeating Spain in the final.

ii. Nigeria won the title in 2015 after defeating Mali in the final.

iii. Nigeria is the most successful nation in the tournament’s history, with five titles and three runners-up.
